Welcome to Holterman Hostel for student and guest researchers at Chalmers
Holterman Hostel is located in central Gothenburg and is located in close proximity to Chalmers, Johanneberg and the student union building. You live in spacious rooms with high ceilings. We offer smart room solutions with everything from single rooms to smaller family rooms.
Smart living close to campus
You check in just like in a hotel with us, sheets are included and you share a WC / Shower with two to three other rooms on the same floor. Cleaning is included on departure but you are expected to sort laundry and garbage yourself.
On each floor there is a fully equipped shared kitchen. In our common areas, there is the opportunity for guests to sit together and digest the day's impressions.
Området
Holterman Hostel ligger på centrala Holtermansgatan i Göteborg. Från Holterman Hostel tar du dig enkelt med buss och spårvagn från Hållplatserna Landala torg eller Chalmers till stadens sevärdheter. Liseberg, Universeum och Korsvägen ligger bara en hållplats med spårvagn. I kvarteren runt om Landala hittar du bland annat Vasastan och Avenyn som har ett stort utbud av shopping, mysiga caféer och restauranger.

Parking
Parking spaces are available nearby and are paid via the Gothenburg Parking app.
Check in & keys
You can check in from 14.00 and check out is no later than 11.00 on your departure day. We are a keyless hostel where you check in and out on your smartphone. You can easily unlock your room with your mobile phone! Therefore, it is important that you have a smartphone with you during your stay.
You can prepare by downloading the app JustIN Mobilefor Android or Apple, to easily receive and use your key
Check out
When you are leaving us you need to remove the bed sheets, collect the towels and place them inside by the door. You should also sort and empty the trash at the specified location. Click here for more information about preparations for check out Check out on My Pages when you leave your room.
Sheets, towels & cleaning
Sheets and towels for all residents are included in the room. You make your own bed but if you want to come to a readymade bed, you can order it when you book your room. We will clean your room after you check out, but if you stay for a long time you can order extra cleaning during your stay.
What's in the room?
In addition to comfortable beds , there is a table, a chair and in some of our larger rooms another seating option. There are plenty of wardrobes and space for extra beds. All our rooms are large and spacious, thanks to the large square meters and the ceiling height of an impressive 4-5 meters.
All our rooms have large and bright windows.
Common areas
On each floor there are shared WC/showers and a kitchen with kitchen equipment. We clean these spaces continuously during the day, but please leave them as you want to find them.
Mat & dryck
Gemensamt kök finns och närhet till livsmedelsbutiker samt caféer och restauranger.
Internet & Wifi
Internet is available in all rooms and common areas. Eduroam is available for students and researchers in all areas.
Laundry
We offer access to common laundry room. The machines have automaticly dosage of detergent .

Pets
Since we are an allergy-free hostel, pets are not allowed in either rooms or common areas.
Accessibility
Come as you are, our Hostel is adapted for guests with different types of disabilities! Two of our three houses are accessible based on wheelchairs, please contact us to book you into the right room.
Smoking
We are a non-smoking hostel and ask you to only smoke in designated outdoor spaces.
